Senior Counseling Track - Package Option
Following the initial consultation meeting, students and parents will
have the option to utilize the complete Senior Year Package which
includes:
- Finalizing the list of colleges to which the student will be
applying
- Preparing for and practicing the college interview
- Gathering materials for each application
- Planning for Standardized Tests
- Identifying special needs
- Arranging for tutors in weak school subjects and/or SAT/ACT test
- Making final appointments for college visits/overnights/interviews
- Arrange meetings with current/graduated students from top choice schools
- Composing/updating résumé
- Assistance with filling out applications
- Assistance with financial aid applications
- College Scholarship search and help with applications
- Scheduling a full day visit or overnight at intended school (post acceptance)
The complete Senior Year Package will require four meetings during the academic year with additional sessions to fill out applications.
Senior Counseling Track - A La Carte Option
Following the initial consultation meeting, students and parents will
have the option of creating their own package from a list of services
which include:
- Finalizing the list of colleges to which the student will be
applying
- Preparing for and practicing the college interview
- Gathering materials for each application
- Planning for Standardized Tests
- Identifying special needs
- Arranging for tutors in weak school subjects and/or SAT/ACT test
- Making final appointments for college visits/overnights/interviews
- Arrange meetings with current/graduated students from top choice
schools

- Assistance with filling out applications
- Assistance with financial aid applications

The services selected and the number of applications will determine
the number of meetings necessary during the academic year.
Summer Session: available for students the summer before Senior Year.

- Requesting information from colleges to be mailed to students
- Planning for Standardized Tests
- Charting academic and social progress
- Identifying special needs
- Arranging for tutors in weak school subjects and/or SAT/ACT test
- Preparing for and practicing the college interview
- Arranging tours of top-choice schools for February and/or April
vacations
- Assigning and evaluating practice college essays
- Assisting student in composing a résumé of activities and honors
- Planning senior class schedule
- Planning college visits and interviews for summer before Senior Year

Sophomore Counseling Track
Initial meeting in Fall of Sophomore Year includes planning of high
school coursework and involvement with extra curricular activities. In
addition, discussion will begin about goals, possible majors the
student would like to pursue and some early impressions of colleges the
student has heard about.
Second meeting in Spring of Sophomore Year to chart progress and
goals.
Freshman Counseling Track
Initial meeting in Fall of Freshman Year includes discussion about
planning of high school coursework and involvement with extra
curricular activities.
